Personal information is also needed to fix technical issues, provide technical support and customer service, verify that you are who you say you are, and manage your account, including processing payments, fulfilling orders, and ensuring your official identification is valid.

Making our services better

Informational research helps us understand how well our services work, what changes are needed, and who our users are. The user information used for this study will remain private, even if we publish or share the results with others. It’s also used to analyze how you use our services so we can better understand your needs and interests.

Getting ads and marketing

We may use the information you give us to call or email you about surveys, deals, our products and services, or those of our third-party partners, as long as we follow the law. This helps us make the ads and content we show you more relevant, track how well our ads and content perform, and give you more personalized ads and content.

Following the law

We use the information you give us to comply with the laws and rules that apply, to protect our rights and the rights of others. It can also be used to create or protect legal rights for our own or other people’s good reasons, such as stopping bad, dishonest, or illegal behaviour.

How to Use Information

We use the Personal Information you provide through the Service to run, improve, and support the Messaging Service. We may also use the data to make your experience with the Service more unique and tailored to your needs.

You can choose not to share information with our online pharmacy.

Customers can change their minds at any time if they no longer want to share personal information, if it is no longer needed or relevant. Customers are in the “opt-out” category until they clearly agree (opt-in) to share their information. This means they do not want to share. We always let our customers know when a third party is collecting information that could be used to identify them.

The sharing of data

Pill Prism only uses your information to send you promotional SMS messages. No mobile information will be given to third parties or affiliates for advertising or marketing reasons. Text message originator opt-in data and consent are not included in any of the other categories. This information will not be shared with anyone else.

You give us permission to send you text messages and notifications when you give us your phone number. Data and message rates apply. Respond with “STOP” to get rid of a message from us.

We think it’s necessary or right to share Personal Information in order to

  1. Follow the laws and legal procedures that apply
  2. Do what the government and public ask of you, even if they are from outside your home country
  3. Comply with our agreements
  4. Look out for our rights, privacy, safety, or property, as well as those of our partners, you, and other people.
  5. Allow us to pursue available remedies or limit the damage we might suffer.

If you don’t want us to, we will not rent or sell your Personal Information to other businesses or third-party providers.

Protection of Information

Pill Prism uses a range of organizational, technical, administrative, and physical security measures tailored to the sensitive nature of the data we collect to keep your Personal Information safe from unauthorized access, modification, or deletion. But by agreeing to this policy, you understand that there are risks with everything you do online.

Your information may go through carrier networks or other third-party infrastructures that we don’t control when you use the Messaging Service. One example is a third-party supplier’s SMS delivery platform. We do everything we can to keep your information safe and prevent it from being used or shared without your permission, but we can’t promise it will be safe when you submit it. You agree that Pill Prism will not be responsible for any information that is shared without permission.

Information about California’s privacy rights

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), we must tell all California residents the following about the types of personal information we collect and how we use it. This includes sensitive personal information as defined by the CCPA, the third parties we share this information with for business purposes, and the parties we “sell” or “share” data with to enable cross-context behavioural advertising.

Because the CCPA has broad definitions of “sell,” “share,” and “personal information,” some of the ways we talk about sharing data in our Privacy Policy might fall under those definitions. When you use our websites and apps for our services, we allow ad and analytics companies to collect information about your device, where you are, what you’re doing, and your IP address, cookie IDs, and mobile IDs. We don’t “share” or “sell” any other kind of public data.

The CCPA says that you have the right to know our data policies, to delete your information or turn off our services, to have any wrong information fixed, and to limit how your Personal Information is shared.

Information about Nevada’s privacy rights

Nevada law says that customers can refuse to have their Personal Information sold for money, so that it can be rented or sold to others.

This is not something that Pill Prism does. However, Nevada law says that if you live in Nevada and have bought services from us, you can choose not to be sold to again. Keep in mind that Pill Prism will do everything it can to ensure your request is handled. If your request is still valid after we confirm it, we will keep it on file even if our rules change.

Compliance with GDPR

To ensure your data is kept safe and protected, we comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We also protect Personal Information from unauthorized processing, as well as from loss, deletion, or accidental damage.

It is thought about the following GDPR rules:

  • Limitation on purpose: data can only be collected for certain reasons
  • Accuracy: Making sure the data is up-to-date and correct as much as we can tell
  • Limits on storage: Data is not kept after it has been collected and is no longer needed.
  • Integrity and privacy: Enough protections to make sure that private data doesn’t get lost or accessed without permission
  • Accountability: Ensuring that the GDPR is correctly implemented.
    • A wise use of data based on law, fairness, and accessibility
    • Data minimization means collecting only the data needed for specific processing tasks.

The GDPR also gives you the right to see your data, have it erased or forgotten, to object, have it corrected, and have it sent to another person.

Following HIPAA rules

Your Protected Health Information (PHI) will not be shared without your permission, as we comply with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). Our servers keep your data safe while it’s being sent over the internet by using end-to-end encryption. This prevents security holes and data theft.

Kids have the right to privacy.

Pill Prism’s services and content are only for people who are at least 18 years old, or as required by state law in the area where the service is being used. We don’t intentionally collect personal information from people under 13 who use our services. The Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act requires us to delete any such information as soon as we become aware of it.

If you believe that a child under 13 has given us information without their parents’ permission, please let us know right away so that we can delete that information.
